The Way: Week 6 June 22, 2009, Monday

This week we talked about Acts 3, specifically looking at the opportunities that this passage shows us.
My favorite part of this passage is when Peter and John tell the guy to “look at them”. (verse 4) I really like this verse because it is exactly what God is telling us . . . He is calling us to look at Him and into His eyes. The cool part about this is that when we do trust Him enough to look into His eyes, we realize that everything else fades into the background. It is in that moment, that we will finally experience an intimate relationship that Christ desires with us.
So are you looking into His eyes? If so, what is He showing you? If not, try it and you will experience God in a way you have never thought possible.
BTW if you missed the service yesterday here is the picture of Paul that we found.

Everything I read these days talks about seasons of life. Whether you know what season you are in or you are trying to figure out what season you are in it’s clear that there are changing seasons in your life. I wanted to share with you a season that my wife Lindsay is in right now. I mentioned Monday that she has written our curriculum for our Disciple Now weekend. To say that it is a good curriculum would be a huge understatement.
I am truly amazed at what God is doing in her life right now. It has been so cool to see all God has done through her in the last 6 months, and there are no signs of this season ending anytime soon. To be able to see her desire to grow with God and seeing Him reveal Himself to her is awesome. I look forward to seeing what God is doing each day; every time we talk I expect to hear another example of God’s work in her life.
I am so blessed to have her in my life.
What season are you in?
